Gionee Elife S7: Quick look on the features of the best flagship ever from Gionee
Design & Display
The Gionee Elife S7 sports a solid frame made of aviation grade aluminium magnesium alloy that is merged with stainless steel to make the device light weight. The flagship comes with both the rear and front panels made of glass. A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects both the sides of the smartphone from scratches. With such design elements, the Elife S7 is the best looking handset from the brand till date. Coming to the display, the phone flaunts a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution for crispy details. The side bezels around the display are pretty sleek, but on top and bottom, the device has bigger bezels.
Gionee hasn’t compromised with the performance while keeping the Elife S7 pretty slim at 5.5mm. The smartphone utilises a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, mated with 2GB of RAM. The handset houses 16GB of internal memory, which users can’t further expand via a microSD card. The phone is fuelled by a heavy 2,750mAh battery, which as per the brand delivers 33 hours of standby time with just 10 percent of battery remaining.
On the software front, the Gionee Elife S7 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop along with the Amigo UI 3.0 skin on top. The brand’s new Amigo custom UI is lighter, snappier, and addresses all the issues of the previous iteration of the UI. The device comes with a new quick setting panel inspired by iOS devices, which is now accessible by swiping up from the bottom. In addition, the smartphone also supports several smart gestures like double tapping to wake and hovering hand over the display to browse pictures.

The Gionee Elife S7 captures images and videos with great amount of details via its 13MP primary shooter that is coupled with an LED flash. The phone impresses the selfie lovers with an 8MP secondary camera. In terms of connectivity, the device misses out almost nothing.
